The Disciplinary and Professional Ranking of Our College Promoted

On May 10th, the Zhejiang UK Food Sensory Science Joint Laboratory International Academic Conference was held at Zhejiang University of Technology. Sun Kangtai, deputy director of the China Rural Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Alan Mackie, dean of the School of food science and Nutrition of Leeds University, Tao Ying, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Zhejiang Technology and Business University, Cong Yanqing, deputy director of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Tian Shiyi, deputy dean of the School of Food and Biological Engineering, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting was hosted by the chairman of the food science and Nutrition International University Alliance Professor Mike Morgan from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and Professor Chen Jianshe from Zhejiang University of Business and Technology co chair.

This meeting will be held in the form of online video, and an offline sub venue will be set up in the report hall of the food building. The conference invited six well-known experts in the field of food sensory science, including Professor Carolyn Ross from Washington State University, Professor Ilija Djekic from Belgrade University in Serbia, Professor Anwesha Sarkar from the University of Leeds in the UK, Professor Paula Varela from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Professor Louise Dye from the University of Leeds in the UK, and Associate Professor Graham Eyres from the University of Otago in New Zealand. They discussed the physics principles of sensory perception, food oral processing Report on the latest international research progress in consumer behavior analysis, oral dietary behavior of special consumer groups, and dietary and cognitive health.

The peak number of online participants in the conference exceeded 500, and the audience actively participated and interacted through the live streaming platform, with good feedback both online and offline. As of the release date, the live streaming room had over 2000 clicks.
